Jeonju International Fermented Food Expo (IFFE) is a government-certified international exhibition specializing in fermented foods and has been held every October in Jeonju, Jeonbuk State since 2003.
Jeonbuk State, the venue, is Korea's representative food industry area, creating a national food cluster complex, building the nation's best food-related R&D infrastructure, and promoting high value-added industrialization based on various agrifood support.
Jeonju International Fermented Food Expo(IFFE), as a place of business that brings fermented foods all together and displays and exchanges fermented foods from all over the world, it is an industrial expo the promotes growth with the future value of fermentation, expanding the global network, and expanding the Korean fermented food industry.
The Jeonbuk institute for Food-Bioindustry, the organizer, is an R&D institution that leads the development of the food-bioindustry in Jeonbuk and aims to contribute to the promotion of the Korean food industry through the successful hosting of the Jeonju International Fermented Food Expo.
